Whether they need a hot meal, a safe place to sleep, or simply someone to listen without judging, The Salvation Army is there for them 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Proceeds from the 2nd Annual CBS 3 / CW Philly Joy of Sharing Phone Bank presented by Herr's will enable The Salvation Army to not only provide new toys and food to needy families during the holiday season, but to support such programs as emergency shelters, child development programs, substance abuse programs, transitional housing, and other year-round support on which so many Philadelphians depend.
And when you give to The Salvation Army, you may be assured that your contributions are spent with care, with 90 cents of every dollar going directly to programs and services to help people in need.
